Bratton Primary School is situated in the centre of Bratton Village, a thriving and closely-knit community nestled below the scarp slopes of Salisbury Plain. The buildings are constructed around a central quadrangle. Each of the seven classrooms is light and airy and equipped with an Interactive Whiteboard, mini library and practical area for art and creative expression. Through our laptop carousel each child is given ample opportunity to develop IT skills in their classroom The older children make full use of the games area, large playing field and "all weather" path. Children in the reception class have their own special play area and equipment.
All staff work hard to maintain the excellent behaviour in the school. Emphasis is placed on celebrating good behaviour towards one another and a positive attitude towards work. Representatives from each class are elected by their classmates to sit on the School Council, which OfSTED found to play "...an active role in promoting pupils' ideas and opinions."
