Salisbury Cathedral School is a thriving school for boys and girls aged 3 to 13. Situated in the heart of Salisbury within the grounds of the City’s most famous landmark, the Cathedral School offers a broad and inspiring education in a happy and purposeful environment that is unquestionably unique.
We are proud of the tradition of academic achievement and spiritual enrichment that has grown over 900 years of the school’s history. Today the School is not only home to two world-famous Cathedral choirs, but is also school to 250 children who learn to work hard, respond to challenges and care for others.
Boarders live together in a newly converted house in the Cathedral Close, with all the modern facilities you would expect. Matrons and house parents combine to create a caring and supportive family atmosphere in which all members, young and old, play an important part. As a boarding school the school is open 'all hours' This gives a very special atmosphere during the day, in the evenings and at weekends
| If you have a musical son or daughter, relative or friend, who is aged between 7 and 9 and loves singing, think about entering them for the voice trials for Salisbury Cathedral Choir. This world-famous choir recruits talented young people annually to train and perform every day to the highest possible standards in one of the world's most beautiful buildings.
