Welcome to our School.

We are a Church of England Voluntary Controlled First School catering for children from rising five to ten years of age. The school is part of the three tier Shelley Pyramid of schools and feeds Kirkburton Middle School. The children attending this school from within the priority admission area enter the Middle School at the age of 10+ years and move to Shelley College at the age of 13+ years.

We want your child to feel happy and secure and we will do our best to provide an attractive and stimulating environment which will help your child to learn to the best of his/her ability.

We also want you as parents to have confidence in our school based on knowledge and understanding of what is happening within it. We value the partnership between parents and the school and are always willing to discuss with you any aspect of your child's development, and welcome your interest and involvement.
