A message from the Headteacher, Mr B. Sarahan.
 I feel privileged to be headteacher at Ilfracombe Arts College. We are an 11-18 inclusive college that places the Every Child Matters agenda at the centre of our daily practice.
We strive to deliver excellence for all which is clearly evidenced by our improving exam results. Our Arts specialism enables us to offer an exciting curriculum with many extra curricular opportunities. The two new Arts faculties and the recent opening of a 'state of the art' £3.4 million Arts block is testament to our aspirations and vision.

Ilfracombe College is an 11-18 comprehensive school located in the North Devon town of Ilfracombe. Ilfracombe College is unusual in that since the early 1980s, facilities available to students have included a television studio complete with editing suite.
Following lengthy fundraising and negotiations from 2001, the college was finally awarded specialist college Media arts status in 2004 - one of only three colleges in the UK to achieve this.
The school has recently continued its transormation into the new Arts status with the building of a £2.6 million pound Arts block and other developments are continuing. |
