About the School

Foley Infant School is a small school that values standards and achievement.

We are extremely proud of all that goes on at our School.  The school building itself was designed as a primary school for pupils aged rising 5 to 11 years although it has never been used as such.

There is a school field used for Physical Education and playtimes in fine weather. Two playgrounds are also available, and these have recently been developed to encourage a wider range of play time activities.

School Admission

We have one intake in September for new entrants. 

All admissions are full-time.

Children who move to Kinver during their infant schooling will be warmly welcomed. Flexible arrangements will be made to help them settle into school.

Parents living outside the Staffordshire County boundaries may decide to send their children to a Staffordshire school. Please contact the school for information about "out of district" admissions.

It is intended that the number of pupils to be admitted to this school at the normal age of entry in the academic year 2006/2007 will not exceed 60.

Pre-School Provision

At Foley Infants we do not have facilities for pre-school age children. However we have excellent links with the following specialist organisations, all based in the Kinver community:

Kinver and Enville Pre-School Playgroup

Kinver and Enville Playgroup meets at The Old Hall, Edgecliff High School, Kinver, during the mornings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday in school term time.

Potters Cross Pre-School Playgroup

Potters Cross Pre-School Playgroup meets at the Methodist Church Hall, Potters Cross, Kinver during the mornings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in school term time.

Peter Pan Pre-School Nursery

The Peter Pan Pre-School Nursery meets in Stourton Village Hall during the mornings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am - 12noon, for 42 weeks of the year.
