A message from the Head Teacher
Hillary Primary School opened on the 1st April 1999.
Although separate schools have been on this site for over 111 years.
The modernised Victorian building has given us wonderful spacious teaching areas, which
include separate rooms for music, 2 computer suites, a large library, a separate art room,
Parent and Toddler room and a room for adult Education.
Hillary Primary serves an ethnically and socially diverse community.
The school is proud of this rich cultural resource.
At Hillary Primary school your child will receive good teaching, a broad and enriching curriculum
with a ride range of extra curricular activities during and after school.
Our aim is to provide a happy, caring and disciplined environment with high expectations where you child
will be expected to give their best.
To ensure your child fulfills their full potential school and home must work in partnership.
Parent and Carers are welcome into school to discuss any aspect of their child’s school life at a time that is
mutually convenient.
Termly parent’s evenings, newsletters, parent’s workshops and the school web site will allow you
to keep up with your child’s progress and learn about the life of the school.
