Towards the end of last term Mr Bennett and Mrs Cope went to a presentation at the County Buildings to receive a certificate to recognise the excellent attendance record that the school has had over the last 12 months. Our Educational Welfare Officer had nominated Holly Grove. The certificate was presented by Robert Pointon and present were Peter Traves, the Director of Children and Lifelong Learning and Councillor Robert Simpson who is the Deputy Leader of the Council of children and young people.
This was a very proud moment for the school as it is an achievement which the whole school community has played a part in, so thanks to all of you who ensure that your children attend regularly.
