Message from the Head Teacher

I would like to formally welcome you to the Lightwoods Primary Website. Our site has been re designed and will continue to grow with staff and pupil input. We welcome your comments as we re-launch the site with our new design.

We are a friendly, caring school, where all staff work as a team to ensure that the children develop into lifelong learners. Parents play a large part in the life of our school and we value their partnership.

Visitors are always welcome; so step inside and get a taste of life at Lightwoods Primary. Come back often and watch the site grow and get to know more about our staff and children.

My favourite area of our website which we hope will grow is the Hall of Fame on the 'Pupils' Work', these pages show a selection of work created by our pupils at Lightwoods Primary School.

Our website also contains pages about projects that we are involved in: Europe an and Creative Partnership projects and gives samples of our work. We would like to thank all our partners in these projects for sharing with us, our parnter schools in Europe and our parnters - artists from Creative partnerships.
