About the Unit
Originally known as Post 14, the unit was formed in January 2002 to focus upon devising a curriculum entitlement for all 14-19 learners in Sandwell. With the strong partnership links between Sandwell LEA and Black Country LSC our aim was to ensure that partners work together in ensuring that wider curriculum choices were available for all learners within the 14-19 age range.
Now rebranded and known as Sandwell 14-19 Learning we continue to strive in our overall vision - 'working together to put the young people of Sandwell first'. Our vision is to guarantee all young person in Sandwell a dynamic and innovative education and training environment that will enable them to experience high quality provision that significantly improves achievement, choice, inclusion, equality of opportunity and progression.
Sandwell 14-19 Learning has continued to progress effectively and positively over a period of time. The team continues to work with many external agencies in order to plan and support a curriculum that will suit each individual. With your interests and support we hope to continue in delivering our Vision for all 14-19 year olds in Sandwell.
