School Information
Welcome to Meadowburn Primary situated in a residential area of Bishopbriggs - a suburb of Glasgow. We offer Gaelic medium education through our Gaelic unit which has been established for 18 years and currently holds 55 pupils. The mainstream role is 238 pupils. In addition we have 65 children in our mainstream and gaelic nurseries.
We offer a full curriculum and after school clubs for our pupils.
Our Garden
Our Eco Commitee and Parent helpers have created two gardens in the school.
The infant garden is called Treasure Island and has barrel seating, a mural, stepping stones and the children painted pebbles with skulls and crossbows on them.
The barrels are a popular place for the children to just sit and chat.
The senior garden is based on the idea of relaxation. We have a replica stream made using pebbles and shells the children made and a little wooden bridge going over the stream. The wind chimes can be heard blowing about in the wind as the children chatter away over their lunch hours. |
