Welcome
Saint Leonard’s is a Roman Catholic co-educational primary school covering the seven years of primary education, after which the children are transferred to Saint Andrew’s and Saint Bride’s High School in East Kilbride.
The school roll is currently 320 with an additional 80 pupils attending our Nursery Class: 40 Morning and 40 Afternoon placements.
Parents should note that the working capacity of the school may vary dependent upon the number of pupils at each stage and the way in which classes are organised.
It is the aim of Saint Leonard’s School to give each pupil ample opportunity to develop to his/her full capacity, intellectually, physically, spiritually, aesthetically and emotionally according to his/her age, ability and aptitude.
To ensure this goal we endeavour to supply a pleasant, secure and stimulating environment supported by guidance and experience to enable every child to develop as confident and well adjusted members of the community.
The interest and co-operation of parents is welcomed by staff, so that teachers, parents and pupils can work together to achieve our aims.
